March 31st ; For many of us in the field of finance, its a 'holy'day coupled with the sunset of the razor edge walks through the spiralling target vis-a-vis achievement charts, whose sharp zig zag pattern makes a banker like me feel the piercing tip of the spear sometimes. Looking back, this year was cool and wish that the upcoming financial year should ignite a spark not only for my career but create a spur of reverberation in the entire world economy that still prefer to be lethargic . As like every Indian I do expect a day when our fiscal deficit would come down, inflation becomes a single digit number and GDP touches a fancy figure of 9.something....a day when our Indian economy joins the league of world biggies...Welcome F.Y.2012-13

Who is right India... Army Chief or Defence minister?
Defence Minister Mr. A.K.Antony who enjoys a special status of a non-controversial cabinet figure over the past years, is now shadowed by an unusual move from his army chief who has alleged that he was offered Rs 14 crore bribe by one of his colleagues for a deal involved in the purchase of substandard military vehicles. It was also alleged that the said matter was brought to the attention of the defense minister one year back. Indian parliament, which no longer considers bribery as an alien species, was satisfied when it was informed by Mr.Antony that he was well aware of the matter , but chosen to keep it in low profile as he was not getting any written complaint. He also thinks that he acted on his judgement and feels that he has done his best for the country.. Well Antonyji, for a layman Indian like me a confusing question here is that when something is going wrong and if being an responsible citizen if we choose to be "mouni babas", what is the future of this country? More than that when someone forgets his committed duty to protect the interest of the nation and his country men in order to secure his image, a natural nostalgia remains in my mind for our old generation visionaries cum leaders like Sardar Vallabai Patel who remains unshaken in any challenges...... rightly deserves to be called as the "Iron man of India". Bharat-a country that has contributed a myriad of examples of being true leaders about half a century back is desperately struggling to find a responsible leadership.... Hope we would be responsible at least to ask a question.... why you people are cheating us always?
